MOE TANet Backbone Upgrade (Aug. 10–14): Possible Internet Service Interruptions
1.Purpose: To support the Ministry of Education's (MOE) Next-Generation TANet 400G Backbone Network Upgrade.
2.Schedule: Monday, August 10 to Friday, August 14, 2026.
3.Expected Impact Periods: (Tentative) Tuesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 13, 2026.
4.Scope of Impact：
A.During the backbone network cutover, the University's external Internet services will be temporarily unavailable.
B.If the MOE adjusts the maintenance schedule, the actual interruption periods may change accordingly.
C.As this project is part of a nationwide backbone network upgrade involving universities across Taiwan, the maintenance schedule cannot be changed. If you have any critical online meetings, teaching activities, or other Internet-dependent tasks, please avoid scheduling them during August 10–14, 2026.
